Turtle Sanctuary

During a study abroad trip we worked a day with a nonprofit that helped build nesting sites for sea turtles. They would walk the beach and once they found a nest dig the eggs then put them into their safe man-made nests. We helped empty the nests and collect fresh sand. This required digging and transporting the used soil to the water and bringing new soil back to the nesting location. March 2023
